Symbolism, colors & shapes

Theis known as a lucky plant that is said to bring wealth and luck to its owner. So we can buy this plant for anyone who could really use a small windfall.

Scindapsus (also known by the outdated botanical name Epipremnum pinatum) has heart-shaped, silky leaves with silver, light green, yellow, or white spots or a flamed pattern. The leaves are on long shoots that can climb or droop, making the plant versatile. Scindapsus also gets bonus points for its air-purifying properties in the house. According to a NASA investigation, the stomata absorb pollutants from the air and dissolve them easily.

Origin

The silver vine belongs to the Arum family (Araceae) and comes from Southeast Asia, Indonesia and the Solomon Islands. In tropical rainforests, it is a rich source of food for lizards and reptiles. The botanical name “Epipremnum” is derived from the Greek words “Epi” for “on” and “Premnon” for “trunk”, as the plant often grows and thrives on the branches of trees.
